I'm getting a pre-built (this summer - far from now), and will make a couple of modifications if necessary. Want you guys to take a look :)

Intel Core i7-4790 Quadcore Processor 3.6GHz
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
24GB DDR3-1600 RAM (4 RAM slots)
2TB 7,200RPM Hard Drive
256GB Solid State Drive
Radeon HD R9 270
Blu-ray Combo Drive
19-in-1 Media Card Reader
10/100/1000 Network
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
Lenovo LI2821 28" 4K Ultra HD Monitor with Built-in Web Conferencing ($500)

All this together is $2,100.

Get windows 8 on it, I know everyone says it sucks, but Microsoft has made it better and keeps updating it. It will easily pass windows 7 in a little while.

I prefer 8 to 7 myself.
"Did you even wonder why I told you to do your own evaluation? I wanted you to think about yourself, and I mean REALLY think. What are you good at? What do you suck at? And then I wanted you to put it down on paper. Not so I could see it, and not so anybody else could see it. But so YOU could see it. Ultimately you don’t have to answer to me, and you don’t have to answer to Kelso, and you don’t even have to answer to your patients, for God’s sake! You only have to answer to one guy, and that’s you!"

I don't mind 8, I even have an 8 computer...but if I were to pick and chose 7 is better (mainly for the home bar thing). That's just personal opinion.

Idk what the problem you had was with the home bar. If it was that you couldn't access file explorer or start, you can now fin both of them on the windows 8.1 taskbar.

I'm talking about how you don't have a menu with the homebar. In win7, when you click on the homebar, you get applications in a menu (that goes up)...that's the only reason I'd pick 7 over 8.
